6TH GRADE CSI FIRST LEGO LEAGUE TEAMS ADVANCE IN COMPETITION

All four Brenham Lego League teams will compete in an invitational next month thanks to an outstanding performance this past Saturday at a competition in Bryan.

Sixth grade CSI students competed in First Lego League on Saturday and as one spectator said, "Brenham was a powerhouse in this competition".

Only 6 of the 20 competing teams were invited to the invitational next month. All 4 Brenham ISD teams were chosen to advance (Coca-Colar Bears, Shake Your Quail Feathers, Horton's Heroes, and Busy Bees).

In addition to the advancement of all BISD teams, the Coca-Colar Bears also received a trophy for 1st place in Robot Score and 1st place in Core Values. Team Horton's Heroes won 1st place in Project.

CSI teacher Kristi Felder says, “The students have been working very hard on this competition.  Their hard work paid off and they represented Brenham ISD so wonderfully. Mrs. Cook and I are so very proud of them!”

The teams will compete again on Saturday, February 25 in Austin.
