ARREST MADE IN CONVENIENCE STORE ROBBERY
An arrest has been made in the aggravated robbery that occurred in a convenience store on March 20 in the 12,000 block of State Highway 36 N.
According to Washington County Sheriff Otto Hanak, Investigators were able to obtain evidence to issue a warrant for 18 year old Zachary Deshaun Hawkins of Somerville.
Washington County Sheriff’s Office Investigators with the assistance of the Brenham Police Department’s Fusion Unit and the Somerville Police Department located the suspect in Somerville where a search warrant for the residence and vehicle of Hawkins was executed.
Hawkins was arrested without incident and was booked into the Washington County Jail. His bond has been set at $500,000.
