BLINN COLLEGE PARTICIPATES IN THE BUCCANEER BIG EVENT

  

Blinn College’s annual day of community service returns today (Saturday) with a new name but the same spirit.

The Buccaneer Big Event, formerly known as the Blinn Blitz, is a student-led community service effort spearheaded by students enrolled in the Texas A&M Engineering Academy at Blinn-Brenham.

Ashley Hermes, student success coach says that, “Our goal is simply to say ‘thank you’ to the community for all it does for Blinn College and its students. This is our opportunity to give back.”

Student volunteers will be provided Buccaneer Big Event T-shirts and brunch, and will share the day’s activities on social media using the hashtag #BucBigEvent.
