BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT PASSES HIGH SPEED RAIL RESOLUTION

  

There’s at least one area County Commissioner’s Court supporting the Texas high speed Rail project.

The Brazos County Commissioner’s Court approved a resolution Tuesday supporting Texas Central and their high speed rail project.  Commissioners cited the project’s potential economic impact to the Brazos Valley, along with transportation benefits afforded to nearby universities, as the major reasons for making its support known.

Commissioners Steve Aldrich, Nancy Berry and Irma Cauley supported the resolution, with Precinct 2 Commissioner Sammy Catalena being opposed to the resolution.
