BRENHAM CUB BAND, CHILDREN CHORUS FUNDRAISERS HAPPENING TODAY

  

Two events aimed at helping raise funds for fine arts in Brenham are happening today (Saturday).

Drive 4 Ur School, sponsored by Appel Ford, is happening from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Brenham Middle School.

For every household that comes to the event and test drives a car, Ford will donate $20 to the Brenham Cub Band.  In addition, each household that drives a Ford Focus will help the band earn an additional $10. The band has a goal of 300 drivers.  All money earned goes directly to help band students at all grade levels.

Brenham Children’s Chorus will also be holding a fundraiser at Kwik Kopy in Brenham from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Members of the community are invited to come and have their car washed and detailed.

Chorus and Brenham Music Academy students will be helping, singing, and selling drinks at the event. A $10 donation is suggested in exchange for a very clean car.
