Despite threats of rain throughout the afternoon, the graduation went off without a hitch at Cubs’ Stadium.
Seventy-seven of the seniors graduated with honors.
At the recent Scholarship Awards Program over $203,000 in scholarships were awarded.
The top two graduates of the Class of 2014 are: valedictorian, Kate Wellmann and salutatorian Jeremy Arnold. Both have made plans to attend Texas A&M.
Once the graduates received their diplomas, they then celebrated with a night of fun and activities at Project Graduation–an all night alcohol-free and drug-free party at Horseshoe Junction.
The graduates had a chance to spend a night with their friends, playing games, seeing movies and winning some valuable prizes with their Senior Bucks they accumulated throughout the year.
