BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT SELECTED FOR NASA PROGRAM

  

A Brenham High School student has been selected to be part of the NASA High School Aerospace Scholars program.

Ryan Middleton will take part in the program, which allows Texas high school students to explore the possibilities of a science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) related major or career.

Middleton will participate in an online course this fall and finish the program with an onsite summer experience at NASA's Johnson Space Center. The program includes interactive lessons on NASA related activities, virtual chats with NASA engineers and scientists, team projects, design challenges and a week-long residential summer experience.

Middleton is a junior at Brenham High School and is also a Drum Major for the Brenham Cub Band.
