BRENHAM ISD CENTRAL OFFICE RE-OPENS

Administrators with the Brenham Independent School District are back in their usual surroundings.

Renovations have been completed at the BISD Central Office.

Last April, the BISD Board of Trustees approved a $40,000 flooring and painting update for the Central Office.

This part of the update included removing the old carpet and tile and installing new carpet. The carpet in the district’s offices had been in poor condition for several years.

Due to the linoleum tile under the carpet having asbestos in its adhesive, replacing the carpet also involved asbestos abatement.

The Central Office was located at the “old” Alton Elementary school since the end of the school year in May.

All personnel have now moved back.  All business is being conducted from 711 E Mansfield.

Below are before and after photos of the renovations at Central Office.
