BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON ASSAULT CHARGE

A Brenham man is in custody after his arrest on an assault charge.
42-year old Nathan Wellman of Brenham was arrested after an incident that allegedly involved a gun.
Sunday, just after 9:00 p.m., Cpl. John Snowden, responded to the 1000 block of Garrett St. to a disturbance.
According to Snowden, Wellman reportedly threatened three people by pointing a firearm at them in the front yard of their residence.
Wellmann was arrested on a charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
He was transported to the Washington County Jail
