BRENHAM MCJROTC TEAM PLACES SECOND AT REGION MEET

  

The Brenham High School MCJROTC drill team placed second overall at the MCJROTC Region 5 Championships held in Waco this past Saturday.

The team will represent the Region 5 four state area at the National Championships on April 22.

Individual team placings included:

1st place Academic Team,

3rd place Armed Exhibition Drill,

2nd place Armed Regulation Drill,

2nd place Unarmed Regulation Drill,

and 2nd place Overall Regulation Drill (colorguard, armed, unarmed).

The National Championships will be held in Irving and will consist of 15 schools, 3 from each region in the United States.

The team is instructed by Captain Jeffrey Bayse and Gunnery Sergeant George Duplessis.
