COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS LAND LEASES

  

Leases on land Washington County owns in Tom Green County is on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the county commissioners’ court.

The county leases out the land mostly for agriculture and hunting.

The proceeds are then distributed to the Brenham and Burton School districts.

Also at Tuesday’s meeting:

Commissioners are expected to accept a grant for repairs to flood-damaged roads from last May’s storms.

And, discuss a resolution certifying county funding for the Washington County Healthy Living Association, and approve the association’s accounting system.

County commissioners will meet Tuesday morning at 9:00 at the Washington County courthouse.
