CUBETTE SENIORS DOMINATE 20-5A ALL-DISTRICT
With Willis closing out the season on Sunday, the All-District Teams were announced for the 20-5A District in Softball.
The Brenham Cubettes had 7 players achieve 1st Team All-District, with 6 of those being seniors.
3 Cubettes made 2nd team, with 2 being sophomores and 1 senior.
A strong 13 in number made Academic All-District.
The rankings were as follows:
1st Team All-District:
Seniors – Meg Morris (Pitcher), Annie Cangelosi (Infield), Brette Kohring (Infield), Maddie Weatherly (Infield), Shae Harris (Outfield), and Kelly Jurden (Outfield).
Sophomore – Kat Marshall (Catcher)
2nd Team All-District:
Senior – Sally Cangelosi (Outfield)
Sophomore – McGee Eschete (Infield), Savannah Bartay (Utility).
Academic All-District:
Shae Harris, Kelly Jurden, Annie Cangelosi, Sally Cangelosi, Meg Morris, Maddie Weatherly, Brette Cohring, McGee Eschete, Kaitlin Whitehead, Amanda Little, Kat Marshall, Caroline Schroeder, and Savannah Bartay.
Congratulations to all these beautiful young ladies. They are not only great athletes, but great students as well!
