CUBS/WHITEHOUSE IN ONE GAME AREA PLAYOFF
The Brenham Cubs baseball team has set its playoff for the Area Round against Whitehouse.
The Cubs and Wildcats will meet in a one game winner-take-all playoff, Friday night at Madisonville. The Madisonville Baseball field is located at 811 S. May St. in Madisonville.
The Cubs defeated Georgetown East View, two-games-to-one, while the Wildcats defeated Bryan Rudder in two straight games.
Friday’s game will be broadcast live on KWHI and www.kwhi.com with the Sports Doc Ed Pothul and Tommy Lange beginning with the pre-game show at 7:00.
The winner will advance to face either Bryan High School or Leander Rouse in the Region Quarterfinals.
