DEPUTIES AND TEXAS RANGERS INVESTIGATING FAYETTE CO. MURDER
Fayette Co. Crimessstoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in an investigation into a homicide near LaGrange, Thursday.
Shortly before 10:00, Thursday morning, Sheriff’s deputies received a 9-1-1 call to the Creamer Creek Road area of LaGrange.
According to Sheriff Keith Korenek, emergency responders discovered the body of 43-year old Jeremy Cornwell of LaGrange.
According to Korenek, Cornwell had been shot several times.
The Texas Rangers were notified and are assisting the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation.
Sheriff Korenek says he believes this is an isolated incident.
