FIVE PEOPLE ARRESTED BY BRENHAM POLICE OVER WEEKEND

  

Five people were arrested by Brenham Police over the weekend on various charges.

Friday, at 10:45 AM, Officer Kejan Mehlhorn was dispatched to the 2700 Block of Highway 36 South in reference to a hit and run. Further investigation determined that a male driver, Jack Boenker, 45, of Brenham, struck an unattended vehicle and left the scene without providing his information. Dispatch also confirmed that Boenker had an active parole warrant. Boenker was located and arrested for striking an unattended vehicle and the parole warrant.

Friday, at 7:18 PM, Officer Alex Saenz responded to the 2500 Block of South Day Street in reference to a theft. Investigation revealed that Oscar Francisco Correa, 50 of Brenham, had passed all points of purchase without paying from an item. Correa was placed in custody and taken to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in for Theft of less than $100 with a Previous Conviction.

Saturday, at 12:10 AM, Corporal Jonathan Phipps, was dispatched to 200 block of West Second Street in reference to a weapons call.  The caller informed Washington County Dispatch that a female suspect pointed a gun at him.  Upon arrival the suspect was identified as Normandy Susan King, 22 of Brenham.  King did admit to pointing a firearm at the caller and was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

 

Sunday, at 12:25 AM, Officer Alex Saenz responded to the 1200 Block of College Avenue in reference to a crash. Investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Tlamatini Quijada Santillan, 28 of Brenham, was intoxicated. Santillan was placed in custody and transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in for Driving While Intoxicated.

Sunday, at 8:30 AM, Officer Kejan Mehlhorn was dispatched to the 500 Block of Willow Circle in reference to an assault. Further investigation determined that a verbal argument turned physical. Kevin Bledsoe Jr., 21 of Brenham, was located and taken into custody for assault causing bodily injury.
