FOUR PEOPLE ARRESTED DURING TRAFFIC STOPS OVER WEEKEND

  

Four people were arrested over the weekend during traffic stops made by the Brenham Police Department.

Richard Ford

 

Friday at 7:45 PM, Sgt. Seth Klehm conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1800 block of US HWY 290 E. Upon further investigation it was revealed that the driver and owner of the vehicle displayed an altered or fictitious license plate. The driver identified as Richard Ford, 48 of Brenham was placed into custody for altered or factious license plate.

 

Louvere Vershier

Friday at 9:45 PM, K9 Corporal Hunter Andras, initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2700 block of US HWY 290 W. Investigation revealed the driver, Louvere Vershier, 30 of Houston, initially gave a false name and was in possession of marijuana, pills, other narcotics and a firearm. Louvere was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Dangerous Drug, Fail to Identify or Intentionally Giving False Information, and Unlawfully Carring a Weapon.

 

Bryan Gentry

Saturday at 2:00 AM, Corporal Jonathan Phipps, initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 3300 block of U.S. Highway 290 W.  Through investigation it was determined that the driver, Bryan Keith Gentry, 45 of Chappell Hill, had an outstanding warrant for criminal non-support.  Gentry was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail.

 

Saturday at 8:30AM, Officer Guillermo Guerrero, conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of East Stone St. Upon arrival, the driver admitted to smoking marijuana prior to the stop. A probable cause search was conducted and marijuana was located. The Driver, Tykeysha Bolding, 42 of Waller was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.
