LCRA VOLUNTEERS BUSY PAINTING AT HENDERSON PARK

LCRA employee Joe Gurka utilizes a bucket truck to paint the upper portion on one of the batting cages.

Volunteers from LCRA were busy this (Friday) morning in Henderson Park in Brenham.  They were part of the several hundred LCRA employees that are volunteering on about 40 community projects as part of LCRA Steps Forward Day.  The volunteers are painting the 4 metal batting cages as well as the concession stand at the park.

During the annual day of service, more than 650 LCRA volunteers will fan out across LCRA’s service territory to work on projects.  Last year, LCRA volunteers built and installed bat racks at Brenham’s Little League fields.

LCRA employees Stephanie Winkelmann and John Cufr paint the consession stand at Henderson Park Friday morning.
