MAN FREED FROM VEHICLE AFTER THREE-CAR ACCIDENT
The Brenham Fire Department helped free a man from his vehicle after a three-car accident Sunday morning.
At approximately 8:10 a.m., the Brenham Fire Department responded to the accident at W. Blue Bell Road and SH 36 North. When they arrived on scene, they found a male driver pinned inside his Toyota Four Runner. The vehicle was laying on its roof after rolling several times. Using the Jaws-of-Life, the fire department was able to free the man from the vehicle. He was then approached by EMS, but refused treatment. No other injuries were reported during the accident.
Both the south bound lane and the turn lane at the intersection were shut down for safety while the scene was cleaned and debris was removed from the road.
