NAVASOTA DEVELOPING A FOOD TRUCK ORDINANCE

  

Residents and visitors to Navasota could soon find more choices as to where they’ll dine.

City leaders have been conducting a food truck trial since April to help them develop a mobile food establishment ordinance.

Authorities say that based on the feedback they've gotten from the public and food truck operators, owners will be allowed to operate in the city’s Central Business District between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., seven days a week.

A permit issued by the city will be needed to run a food truck.
