THREE FOUND DEAD IN BRYAN APARTMENT–UPDATE

  

Bryan Police have identified three people who were found dead at an apartment complex Wednesday morning, and say they believe the public isn't in any danger.

The victims have been identified as 54-year old Melvin Benefield, 46-year old Virginia Ann Benefield, and 65-year old Larry Davis. All three were found inside the Benefield's apartment at Canyon Village on Finfeather Road.

According to online records, Virginia Benefield was released from the Brazos County jail Saturday, following her arrest for violating an emergency protective order, requiring her to stay away from Melvin Benefield.

Investigators said around 9 a.m. Wednesday, a co-worker was concerned and called police when one of the three didn't show up for work.

The bodies have been sent to the Travis County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
