TWO ARRESTED ON LOCAL DRUG POSSESSION CHARGES

Two people face drug possession charges after separate arrests Friday night in Brenham.
Friday evening at 5:30, Corporal David Dudenhoeffer conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of West Alamo Street.
The driver 48-year old Stephen Otero of Brenham was found in possession of methamphetamines.
Otero was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and taken to the Washington County Jail.

An hour-and-a-half later, Dudenhoeffer conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of US Hwy 290 West.
The driver, 32-year old Christopher Vela of Brenham, was arrested after a search turned up methamphetamines.
Vela was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and taken to the Washington County Jail.
