TWO CHAPPELL HILL RESIDENTS KILLED IN WEEKEND ACCIDENT

  

Two Chappell Hill residents were pronounced dead after a Sunday evening accident.

On Sunday around 6:30pm, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 2006 Ford Explorer, occupied by seventy-eight year old Michael Henry Malinowski and seventy-one year old Elizabeth Selchak Malinowski, headed north on Malinowski Road,  crossed into the path of an east-bound 2006 Jeep Liberty on Highway 290, driven by eighteen year old Marisa Talgalog of Round Rock.

According to DPS reports, the Malinowski vehicle disregarded a stop sign at Malinowski Road and Highway 290.

All three involved were taken to Scott and White Hospital in Brenham, where both Michael and Elizabeth Malinowski were pronounced dead by Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace  Ken Tofel.

Tagalog was hospitalized in stable condition.
