UNITY SEASON KICKS OFF WITH MUSICAL, THURSDAY
The new season at Unity Theater in Brenham is about to get underway.
The first of Unity Theatre’s four main stage shows is set to open Thursday evening.
First up is A Grand Night for Singing, a musical by Rodgers and Hammerstein, playing this Thursday thru October 15th.
This Tony-nominated Best Musical is a tribute to the genius of Rodgers and Hammerstein. With more than 30 songs from the Rodgers and Hammerstein canon it will truly be a ‘Grand Night for Singing’.
Show times are Thursdays at 7:30; Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 and Sunday matinee at 4:00.
Individual tickets are $30 each, $15 for students. All unsold tickets are $15, 15 minutes prior to the performance. This Thursday is Preview night—all tickets are $22 each.
Also this Thursday, Immediately following the preview performance, there will be a brief talk-back with the cast and director of the show. The cast is anxious to hear feedback, answer questions, and share the experience of creating the play.
