VIDEO – WASHINGTON COUNTY FAIR DRONE VIEW

  

The Washington County Fair board of directors contracted John Deans of Central Texas Drones to perform aerial photography of the 2016 Fair.  Deans is an FAA Part 107 Licensed Remote UAS Pilot and followed very strict rules in filming the heavily attended event. Flying directly over crowds was avoided and he had to be grounded by 30 minutes after sunset (no drone flying at night after 8PM CST).

High risk scenes around people and animals were filmed with a handheld DJI Osmo (gimbal based HD camera) and made mobile with a Hoverboard.  This ground based mobile photography system mimicked the smoothness of aerial based systems but with no danger to others.
