WORK TO BEGIN TUESDAY ON TOM GREEN ST. IN BRENHAM

  

Beginning tomorrow (Tuesday), the City of Brenham Street Dept. will start concrete repair work on W. Tom Green St. between Market St. and Austin St.

Motorist are advised to be prepared to detour around the construction areas.

There will be times throughout the week where this portion of the roadway will be closed overnight due to the curing of the concrete patches.

City officials are asking commuters to be respectful of all warning signs and workers that are in the area and if an alternate route can be taken during this time please do so.

Officials say it’s important to finalize these rough areas before the start of school.
