YOUTH OF FAITH MISSION ATTENDING SALVATION ARMY CAMP

Around 80 kids in Washington and Burleson counties are preparing for a trip to Camp Hoblitzelle in Midlothian, Texas.

Faith Mission, along with Salvation Army, is conducting their annual week-long camp for youth of the region. Spreading over 900 acres, the camp offers horseback riding, fishing, canoeing, a ropes course, swimming, feeding Longhorns, Vesper and bible classes and more.

Rev. Randy Wells says this is the first time kids from both Washington and Burleson counties will be represented.

Camp Director Qwynetta Foster says parents must attend an hour-long orientation before the kids are allowed to go to the camp.  The youth will depart on Monday, June 25 and return Saturday, June 30, escorted by Rev. Wells, Foster, parent volunteers and Faith Mission student interns.

For more information, contact the camp director at 979-830-1488.
