14TH ANNUAL CHAPPELL HILL LAVENDER AND WINE FEST SATURDAY
The 14th Annual Chappell Hill Lavender and Wine Fest is set for this weekend at two locations in Washington County.
The festival will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at both the Chappell Hill Lavender Farm and the Windy Winery just north of Brenham.
The Lavender Farm will have culinary, floral, and bath products available, along with miniature horses to see. Meanwhile, at the Windy Winery, there will be live music, wine tasting, craft booths and grape stomping.
Debbie McDowell, part owner of the Lavender Farm, says the event calls back to festivals of old.
Admission for the festival is free, while parking is $1 at the farm.
The Chappell Hill Lavender Farm is located at 2250 Dillard Road in Washington, and the Windy Winery at 4232 Clover Road in Brenham.
