GRIMES COUNTY CHILD DROWNS NEAR FAMILY MEMBER HOME
A child has drowned Monday afternoon in Grimes County.
Around 2:00pm at a family member’s home in the 7400 block of Rambling Lane, 7 year old Levi Harris tried to fetch a Frisbee from a lake when he drowned.
911 was called and first responders found him and began CPR just after 2:35pm. Levi passed away at 4:15pm at a hospital.
According to the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, an autopsy will be performed.
