LOCAL COMPANY NAMED FINALIST IN HEB’S QUEST FOR THE BEST

  

A local company has been named a finalist in HEB’s “Quest for the Best”.  The Lazy Bee Honey Company of Burton was named one of the top 25 best Texas foods.  Their new gourmet line of Honey Butters was selected from hundreds of entries in the contest.

The Lazy Bee Honey Company is a small family owned business based in Burton.  It began as a weekend hobby to produce raw local honey.  It has expanded to produce a line of Honey Jams and now Honey Butter.

HEB will name their top 4 best Texas foods at the end of next week.  The top 4 winners will be awarded cash prizes and be announced as one of HEB’s Primo Picks.
