BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO TWO CALLS TUESDAY
The Brenham Fire Department responded to a pair of calls, Tuesday afternoon.
The Department was called out just after 1:00 p.m. to a dumpster fire behind the former Sutherland’s store on South Market Street.
Firefighters extinguished the small fire. The cause is unknown.
Then, just before 3:30, the Department was dispatched to an accident in the 2800 block of Highway 36 South, near the WalMart shopping center.
Firefighters used absorbent to remove fluids from the roadway, and stood by until the vehicles were removed.
No injuries were reported.
