REV. RANDY WELLS HOSTING BOOK SIGNING SATURDAY
Author and Reverend Randy Wells invites the community to a press conference and book signing this weekend in Brenham.
Rev. Wells will talk about his book, “The Grandmother’s Rule” at the Cannery Kitchen on Saturday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The book is a collection of sayings and words of wisdom through the past five generations. Rev. Wells says these twelve “rules” are designed as a gift for people of all ages, races, and backgrounds.
He says “The Grandmother’s Rule” is a workbook designed to aid family discussions about values, norms and behavior.
The event will begin with a short media question and answer session, moderated by Brenham Banner-Press Editor Arthur Hahn from 9:30 to 10 a.m.
Rev. Wells expects over 100 people for the book signing from 10 to 11:30 a.m., which will include free light refreshments, music by gospel artist Arthur Curry of Mt. Rose Missionary Baptist Church, and recording artist Pastor Cephas Riggins.
Rev. Wells is scheduled for a ten city, three state tour, to include the Freeport Bahamas. Last week, he had a book appearance in New Orleans on the Good Morning Show with Oliver Thomas, on WBOK AM 1230. In addition, he appeared on Sunday Morning Sunshine with Rev. Roy Green on KWHI AM 1280 and FM 101.7 in Brenham.
