ST. JOHN’S SELLING PAVERS FOR 125TH ANNIVERSARY
Fundraising for a special project is underway in celebration of the 125th Anniversary of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Burton.
The church is creating a cross and brickscape for the front lawn.
Brick pavers are being sold for $50, with no limit to the number of bricks you may purchase.
Orders are to be turned in by Dec. 31st so the project can be dedicated in time for the church’s anniversary.
Church officials are urging anyone who was baptized, confirmed or married, is a member now or has ever been a member, to purchase a brick or have a brick purchased for someone. Bricks may also be purchased to memorialize someone.
The bricks have three lines with 18 spaces to convey a message.
Order forms may be picked up at St. John’s office in Burton or at Judith’s Salon, on South Market St, in Brenham.
The pavers are designed by Ryan Pape of Papescapes.
