EARLY-MORNING OPERATION ENDS WITH ARREST OF TWO IN BRENHAM

(Washington Co. Jail)
Residents on the west side of Brenham were awakened this (Wednesday) morning to a loud boom, followed by the sound of a helicopter circling the area.
Brenham police report that the disruption was caused by a joint operation that resulted in the arrests of two wanted suspects. However, they would not confirm what the nature of that loud noise was.
At around 5 a.m., police executed a search warrant with the Texas Department of Public Safety, at a residence in the 1000 block of Mill Creek Drive. Police say the joint operation was part of an ongoing investigation.

The two occupants of the home, 41-year-old Christopher Serialle and 34-year-old Antynett Ellis, each of Brenham, were arrested. They were taken into custody for multiple narcotic and weapon related charges.
Multiple Brenham residents reported via social media that they heard a loud boom coming from the area, followed by seeing a helicopter circling the skies.
Police have not said what made the loud noise, but Police Chief Allwin Barrow said hard entry was made into the building, and a flashbang grenade or breaching round from a shotgun was possibly used.
