WASHINGTON CO. LITTLE LEAGUE CONTINUES TO SUSPEND ACTIVITIES

Washington County Little League officials say due to the current pandemic and local, state and national guidelines, they will continue the suspension of all activities, indefinitely.

Officials say they cannot put a date on the start of Little League activities, due to the constantly changing situation.

The local Little League is hopeful they can still have a 2020 season, and all schedules will be adjusted to resume activities once the all-clear is given.

Washington County Little League has also decided to cancel their annual fundraiser this year due to the uncertainty of when the games will begin and the financial hardships some families may face.

They are also awaiting word on how the current situation could affect All-Star tournament play.

They’re also encouraging everyone to continue to work out individually with the children until team workouts can commence.
