The fundraiser supported Pre-K through 12th grade students in Brenham and Washington County with a night of food, drinks and Bingo games for designer purses at the Fireman’s Training Center.

According to Brenham GameChangers Board President Heather Thielemann, preliminary numbers show the event raised $38,000, including $8,200 from an online bucket drawing.

Thielemann said proceeds go towards after-school activity scholarships, events and character education.

This past year was the Brenham GameChangers’ biggest year of scholarships, with around $34,000 given to local students.
