(Craig Montana)

Music from the MTV generation super groups will be featured in the fourth and final “Hot Nights, Cool Tunes” concert of the summer tomorrow (Saturday) night in downtown Brenham.

The Spicolis will close out the free concert series with a tribute to the pop, rock and dance hits of the ‘80s, beginning at 7 p.m. on the courthouse square.

Local businesses and vendors will offer food and drinks.  Classic vehicles will be on display at the west end of Alamo Street during the Stray Katz Car Club’s cruise-in.

Meanwhile, from 6 to 9 p.m., the Texas Chapter of the Zythological Society of North America will host “Hot Nights, Cold Brews”, a craft beer tasting event at the Ant Street Inn.  Tickets are $20 per person and include 20 tastings for beers from local, regional and out-of-state breweries.

The concert is sponsored by Ant Street Inn, Strand Associates, Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union and Brannon Industrial Group.

KTEX-106’s Trail Boss Troy will be at tomorrow night’s concert to introduce The Spicolis on stage.
