FORMER CUB MALCOM BROWN CUT BY THE JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Former Brenham Cub Malcom Brown is looking for a new NFL team. Brown was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars yesterday (Wednesday).
He was about to go into the second year of a two year, $11 million contract with the Jaguars.
Brown was a five star defensive tackle recruit out of Brenham High School. He played three seasons of college football with the Texas Longhorns before turning pro after his junior season.
Brown was drafted with the #32 pick by the New England Patriots in 2015. He played with the Patriots for four seasons (2015-2018) and helped them win two Super Bowl titles.
He then went on to play two seasons (2019-2020) with the New Orleans Saints before joining the Jaguars last year (2021).
