BRENHAM, WASHINGTON CO. OFFICES TO CLOSE FOR THANKSGIVING

  

Offices around Brenham and Washington County will be closed starting Thursday in celebration of Thanksgiving.

Closures on Thursday and Friday include Brenham City Hall, Brenham Municipal Court and all Washington County offices.  Brenham Animal Services, the Blue Bell Aquatic Center and the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library will all be closed Thursday through Sunday.

The Brenham & Washington County Visitor Center will be closed Thursday, but will re-open Friday with regular hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The Collection/Transfer and Recycling Station will also be closed Thursday and re-open on Friday.

There will not be any residential or commercial trash pick-up on Thursday.  Thursday’s pick-up will occur on Friday, while Friday’s pick-up will take place on Saturday.

The offices of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative will be closed on Thursday and Friday.  Bluebonnet members can access their account information, make payments and report power outages by going to www.bluebonnet.coop or using the co-op’s mobile app.  They can also call 800-949-4414.

Brenham and Burton ISD schools are closed this week.  Classes will resume on Monday.
