BURTON ISD TO DISMISS EARLY THURSDAY FOR STATE SEMI-FINALS
Burton ISD will close schools early tomorrow (Thursday) to send off the Panther football team for its state semi-final matchup against Mart.
The send-off will be at 1 p.m. in the Burton High School staff parking lot. That will be followed by car rider dismissal at 1:15 p.m. and dismissal at 1:30 p.m. for students who ride the bus.
The game kicks off at Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex in Round Rock at 7 p.m. KWHI will broadcast the game live beginning with pregame at 6:30 p.m. on AM 1280, FM 101.7 and kwhi.com.
The winner will face either New Home or Albany in the state championship game on Wednesday, December 14th at 7 p.m. at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
