FOUR PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Four people pled guilty and were sentenced in District Court this week by Judge Carson Campbell.

Jessie Gomez, Jr., 35 of Richmond, Texas, was sentenced to 9 months in State jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Tampering with Physical Evidence.  He was also ordered to pay a $1432 fine.

David Edward Gurley, 40 of Brenham, was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He was also ordered to serve 100 hours of community service.

Craig Sweed, 30 of Washington, Texas, was sentenced to 4 years’ probation for Theft of Property between $2500 and $30,000.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.

George Anthony Talerico, 24 of Round Rock, was sentenced to 2 years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine.
