MATTRESS MACK VISITS EMPLOYEES AT BRENHAM TEMPUR-SEALY PLANT
A well-known Houston businessman visited Brenham’s Tempur-Sealy mattress plant today (Thursday) to speak to company employees.

Jim McIngvale, the owner and operator of Gallery Furniture who is better known as “Mattress Mack”, gave an address during the company’s employee appreciation lunch. McIngvale talked about the value of hard work and told stories of people he has met whose work ethic carried them through challenging times in their lives.
McIngvale said manufacturing jobs have gone away in many parts of the country, but Brenham’s plant continues on strong, and he commended the work done locally to make this bedding plant a premier one.
McIngvale said he believes getting more people back to work will solve many of the world’s problems, and called the Brenham Tempur-Sealy employees “a beacon of hope in an often-dark world.”
At the end of his speech, McIngvale stayed to visit with company employees and take pictures. He also offered several dozen tickets to give away for the Houston Astros playoff game this Saturday.
Good for him. He is correct. Working hard, at whatever it is that you do, is one of the only ways to stay young, strong, and have a healthy disposition.
Great for the employees at the plant as well!
