CUBETTES DEFEAT COLLEGE STATION 49-47 ON SENIORS NIGHT

The Brenham Cubettes finished off their regular season with 49-47 victory over the College Station Lady Cougars on Seniors Night last (Tuesday) night.

Halle Scheel led the Cubettes with 14 points including hitting the game winner.  Antyiahna Lang added 13 points.

The win improved Brenham to 19-17 on the season and 7-7 in district.

The Cubettes finished in a tie with Magnolia for fourth place, and will have a one game playoff to determine, who gets the last playoff spot from District 21-5A.

Magnolia beat Magnolia West 50-46 last night to stay in the playoff hunt.

The teams will be meeting later today (Wednesday) to set the date, time, and place.

Prior to the game, the five outgoing Cubette seniors were recognized: Aaliyah Wolfe, Halle Scheel, Jada Wright, Jayde Powell and Malyiah Ausby.
