MAN ARRESTED THURSDAY BY BRENHAM POLICE

  

A Venus, Texas man was arrested Thursday night by Brenham Police.

They report that at 9:25 p.m., Officers responded to the 2100 block of Highway 290 West in reference to an intoxicated person. Upon further investigation, Cedric Gene Nickerson, 35 of Venus, Texas, was heavily intoxicated and walking on a public roadway. He also showed to have multiple warrants out for his arrest. Nickerson was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail charged with Public Intoxication and his active warrants were served; Failure to Appear issued out of Washington County, Harassment of a Public Servant issued out of Brazos County, and Criminal Trespass of Property issued out of Brazos County.
