NARCOTICS SEARCH WARRANT LEADS TO ARREST OF BRENHAM MAN
A Brenham man was arrested after multiple agencies conducted an operation for narcotics early Tuesday morning.
At 6 a.m., the Brenham Police Department Crime Reduction Unit, in collaboration with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, District Attorney’s Office, EMS and Texas Game Wardens, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 2100 block of FM 389.
As a result of the search, investigators discovered and seized narcotics, U.S. currency and weapons.
23-year-old Christin Antonio Izzekell Torres was arrested for an active felony warrant for Delivery of Marijuana.
Update @ 8:15 a.m. 4/3: Washington County Jail records show that as of Wednesday morning, he is now also charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana 4oz. – 5lbs, and Money Laundering $2,500 - $30,000.
The police department says no one was harmed during the operation.
