DAY ONE DISTRICT 21-5A TRACK MEET RESULTS

The District 21-5A Track Meet got underway on Wednesday at Cub Stadium. The events will conclude later today (Thursday).

For the events, that have been completed, the Brenham Cubs had four advance to the Area Meet, which will be next week in Magnolia.

In the High Jump, Christopher Guidrey had a leap of an even six feet, which placed him fourth overall.

Brenham had two advance in the Triple Jump. Quincy Adams placed third with 42 feet and 6 1/4 inches, while teammate Elijah Ferguson placed fourth with 41 feet and 8 3/4 inches.

For the discus, Caleb Espinoza finished third overall with a throw of 133 feet and 11 inches.

Of the seven boys events that were completed on Wednesday, College Station won three, Magnolia won two, and Magnolia West and Rudder each won once.

On the Girls side of the Meet, College Station dominated yesterday (Wednesday) winning six of the seven events. The other win went to Magnolia.

The lone Cubette to place was Janiyah Mathis, who finished sixth in the High Jump, with a height of four feet, eight inches.
