BLINN MEN’S SOCCER FALLS TO TYLER ON THE ROAD

No. 10 Blinn College men’s soccer fell 2-0 to No. 4 Tyler Junior College in a Region 14 clash Friday in Tyler, Texas.

The Buccaneers dropped to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in region play.

“I thought the players executed the tactical plan well today, which kept us competitive throughout and gave us an opportunity to snatch a result late in the game,” Blinn head coach Michael McBride said. “Ultimately, missing a crucial one-on-one opportunity with the goalkeeper in the final moments, while trailing by a single goal, proved costly with us conceding a second goal in the final minute.”

The Bucs will look to get into the region win column when they face Jacksonville College at noon on Saturday in Jacksonville, Texas.
