Beer will be the featured drink of the day tomorrow (Saturday) at the 5th Annual OktoBierFest at Round Top Rifle Hall.

Hosted by Round Top Schutzen Verein, OktoBierFest begins at 11 a.m. Saturday on the grounds of Round Top Rifle Hall.  The official keg tapping ceremony is at 12 noon with beer from the Paulaner Brewery in the Bavarian capitol of Muenchen.  There will be plenty of bottled beer also from regional breweries across Germany.

Freshly prepared German food will be available in the Biergarten, including smoked pork chops, bratwurst, German potatoes, sauerkraut and radish salad.  Non-stop music is scheduled at the outdoor pavilion from 11:30 to 8:00 featuring Enzian Buam Alpine Yodelers from Frelsburg, The Swinging Dutchmen from New Braunfels, and the Round Top Brass Band.

Round Top Rifle Hall is just located just east of Round Top at 710 FM 1457.
