BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF WASHINGTON CO. BEGINNING FAMILY MEAL DISTRIBUTIONS TUESDAY
Signups are still available for today’s (Tuesday) Boys and Girls Club of Washington County’s “Feed the Families” meal distributions.
The first of four meal distributions, providing 180 family-style meals, will be held this afternoon from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the club’s site in Brenham at 1710 East Tom Green Street.
This week’s meal is provided by Royers Pie Haven and Bake Shop, and co-sponsored by Brenham National Bank and Germania Insurance.
Weekly distributions will continue each Tuesday through May 19th.
This effort is possible after the club received funding from fundraising by the Friends of Boys and Girls Clubs in Texas Advisory Committee, along with support from local businesses who matched the grant.
Advance registration is required, and meals are limited to one meal per family. Meals serve about six people.
