Hosted by the Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce, this year’s event begins Saturday, December 12th with registration and check-in at 3 p.m. at the Rock Store on 5070 Main Street.

Children can gather at the Chappell Hill Bank porch prior to the parade to visit with Mrs. Claus and get lined up for the parade at 3:30 p.m.  The parade will take children down Main Street, where they will show off their dressed-up teddy bears to the public.  Parents are welcome to join their children along the parade route.

The parade will end on the Poplar Lot under the water tower for story time and snacks with Mrs. Claus outside of Santa’s workshop, prior to an appearance from Santa at 4:15 p.m.  Santa will arrive courtesy of the Chappell Hill Volunteer Fire Department and will visit with children before heading back to the North Pole.

Families are strongly encouraged to pre-register so organizers can properly plan for the parade.  The Chamber will provide individual teddy bears if needed, and event organizers are implementing public health and safety measures.

Sponsors for the Teddy Bear Parade include:

Santa’s Reindeer Sponsors: J. Hill Properties, Chappell Hill Bakery and Deli, and Travis, Linda and Colton Cook.

Santa’s Elves Sponsors: Bank of Brenham, Bluebonnet House and Garden Center, Brenham National Bank, Chappell Hill Bank, Betty and Derrell Fogarty, Kim and Alan Gibson, Main Street Antiques, Edward Jones – Katie Matthews, and Texas Artisans.
