BELLVILLE POLICE INVESTIGATING WEEKEND ROBBERY AT LOCAL STORE

  

Bellville authorities are investigating a weekend robbery at a local store.

According to Bellville Police, Saturday morning, just after 5:30, an unidentified white male dressed in black, robbed the clerk at the J&R Food Mart at 303 East Main Street in Bellville.

The suspect, who was brandishing a handgun, made off with an undetermined amount of cash.  No one was injured in the robbery.
